Luxe ECommerce Candle Product Photography for Corridor Candle Co.
Some recent work for a local San Diego business: Corridor Candle Co. Megan, the owner and creator, has a line of beautiful soy wax candles, room sprays, travel candles, and shower steamers in an array of mesmerizing scents. Some of her best-selling items include San Diego-inspired scents like Torrey Pines, Anza-Borrego, and Sunset Cliffs.
We honed in on the target market of San Diego residents who like handmade home goods, both for themselves and their friends. With the locally-themed candles, a number of her customers give them as gifts to those who no longer live in the Southern California area or to those they have shared a special memory with in San Diego (like a vacation or wedding).
Corridor Candle Co. also creates custom wedding candles — in case you’re in the market!
For the ecommerce photos, Megan needed something she could use on both her website and her wholesale line sheet. For the product images, we wanted to incorporate a bit of contrast, make sure the texture on the labels popped, and have an overall luxe, minimal, and cozy feeling. We opted for a warm gray backdrop to bring in that luxe and cozy quality.
I photographed a Branding Session for Megan — both featuring her as the business owner and candle maker, as well as her products throughout the home, and to supplement those images, she also needed some ecommerce candle product photographs.
The key for ecommerce product photography is consistency and uniformity, as well as capturing details with a macro lens, and utilizing even light.
Here are a few of the ecommerce product photos for this luxe and handmade candle company!
